BOOK REVIEW: The Men With The Pink Triangle – Book Review

This book is the first-published and still the best-known testimony by a gay survivor of the Nazi concentration camps. It’s the autobiography of Josef Kohout, an Austrian Holocaust survivor; he was imprisoned for his homosexuality. His story opens new doors onto our understanding of homosexuality and the Holocaust. It was first published in 1980.
Paul Cram shares some of the portions of the book that stood out to him in this podcast episode.
Heinz Heger was the pen name of Hans Neumann, an acquaintance of Josef Kohout.
