YA Fiction on the Hogwarts Express of Chicago

141/365 Coming Home

During my descent on the escalator, I get the overwhelming feeling that I’m near Hogwarts Express. Which doesn’t make logical sense as any Harry Potter fan can see the trains don’t look like that classy old-world style train. Regardless, if you’ve ever flown into Chicago and headed to the L Trains, then you know the feeling I am talking about. When you reach that cavernous space, are walking the platform, it feels like adventure is just over the horizon.

YA Audio Book Fiction

While traveling, I’ve been finishing up the 3rd book in The Hunger Games trilogy via audio book. The dystopian social tale is addictive and hard to get out of my head. And I’ll say the cliche bibliophile quote “There’s no way the movie is as good as the book.” 🙂

Stand-Out Audio Books

For fellow YA Fiction lovers, here’s a few audio books that I highly recommend. I list these particular one’s as the voice of the narrator matched the story in an uncanny way:

  • The Hunger Games
  • We’ve Always Lived in The Castle
  • Sisters Red
  • The Nanny Diaries

Have you had a moment where you felt like you were in a book?
