With acting projects clamoring to finish filming before January 1st, time’s in short supply these last months of the year. Which is part of the reason why I cook Maple Syrup Pecans instead of the better-tasting Spiced Pecans I usually bake. Maple syrup glazed pecans take 5 minute stove-top cook time as opposed to the 30 minute cook time for the Spiced Pecans.
The recipe’s simple too:
- 1 cup pecans
- 1/3 cup maple syrup
- Dash of salt
Cook in a skillet until syrup caramelizes. About 5 minutes. Done.
