I wrapped filming on “Going to Seed” last Autumn and have just done the ADR (voice over) for the final edit of that project. “Going to Seed is an art film based upon the poetry “The Love Song of J. Alfred Prufrock” written by T.S. Elliot. The poem is filled with metaphors and haunting imagery.
“I should have been a pair of ragged claws scuttling across the floors of silent seas… I have heard the mermaids singing, each to each. I do not think that they will sing to me. I have seen them riding on the waves Combing the hair of waves blown back
When the wind blows the water white and black. We have lingered in the chambers of the sea By sea girls wreathed with sea weed red and brown Till human voices wake us and we drown.”
