Synopsis: Two people fall in love over the internet, where their imperfections are easily hidden. Their face-to-face meeting however, isn’t the stuff of which epic (or Hollywood) romance is made; and each must come to terms with what “real world” relationships entail.
“M 4 W” (Man for Woman) is written & being directed by Cynthia Uhrich. The first draft was penned in 2008, and was one of two adult scripts selected by THE STORYBOARD to be presented to the public in a staged reading at The Loft Literary Center in Minneapolis. The feedback Cynthia received was so positive, that she decided to continue developing the piece. At that time, Cynthia approached actor Paul Cram (who was the reader for that evening) and asked him if he’d ever consider playing the role, if she were to produce the work. He said he “never gets to play a romantic lead, so yes!”
The other actors in the piece are: Sheena Leigh of Los Angeles, David Tufford, Gary David Keast and Dakota Rose have been cast in supporting roles.
